The resonance due to cholesterol number C21 is a doublet. Resonances for straight chain CH3 and anteiso-CH3 moieties are composed of two major resonances, and the iso-CH3 moieties are composed of two major and one minor (left shoulder) resonance. The resonances due to cholesterol numbers C26 and 27 are not resolved but rather are buried under the straight chain resonances.
