FIG 4

Percentages of protospacers on the plasmid (A) and on genomic DNA (B) that carry conserved CCN, atypical CCN, and no CCN motifs. CCN, CCN motif at the 5′-adjacent region of protospacers; Atypical CCN, spacers with flipped, slipped, or flipped-slipped integration or with a CDN or DCD motif (a single conserved C at the −2 or −3 site of the 5′-adjacent region); No CCN, the cognate protospacers with no CCN motif at either end. All cognate protospacers were detected in high-throughput sequencing data.
