Participants	41 Vietnamese adults 16 to 52 years Cerebral malaria (Choray coma scale 3, equivalent Glasgow 3‐6) with or without renal, gastrointestinal, hepatic or pulmonary complications Pf >1000/µl
Interventions	ASiv vs QNNiv: 1. AS240: 60 mg at 0 h, 4 h, 24 h and 48 h 2. QNN (20 mg/kg over 4 h then 10 mg/kg every 8 h to day 7)
