Participants Expected enrolment: sample size not given
Minimum age: 15
Inclusion criteria: HIV (?) pregnant women aged 15 years or older in their 1st or 2nd pregnancy
Exclusion criteria: multigravida women, gestation age < 16 weeks or > 36 weeks, prior history of allergic reactions to sulfadoxine‐pyrimethamine or artesunate
Interventions 1. Intervention: sulfadoxine‐pyrimethamine plus artesunate
2. Control: sulfadoxine‐pyrimethamine

2. Adverse reactions.
