The time spent freezing in response to context (A) or cue (B) of WT and Sorcs2−/− mice in a context- and cue-dependent fear conditioning experiment, showing that Sorcs2−/− mice have intact contextual fear-learning (hippocampus) while cue-dependent memory (amygdala) was significantly reduced compared to WT mice (P = 0.002) (n = 21 for WT and n = 18 for Sorcs2−/−).
