FOXM1 de-phosphorylation in response to Aurora A/PLK1/FOXM1 inhibition drives β catenin release and nuclear import. FOXM1 de-phosphorylation in response to IM, Vol, Dan and Thio prevents β catenin binding in the cytoplasmic and nuclear compartment of IM-sensitive K562 cells (p < 0.01 or less). β catenin decay following its release from de-phosphorylated FOXM1 is likely driven by nuclear export and cytoplasmic degradation
