The magnitude image of the gradient echo sequence (MAG), two QSM images (MEDI and MEDI+0), and CSF mask used for zero reference in MEDI+0 reconstruction, for two representative cases. Case 1 (top row), 79-year-old female with dizziness for 2 days showing excellent concordance between MEDI and MEDI+0. The CSF mask was located in the ventricular CSF. Case 2 (bottom row), 5-day-old male infant with intermediate concordance. There were errors in CSF mask computation; mask extended to the white matter that contains more water in infants.
