Calotropin inhibits cell proliferation in colorectal cancer cells. (A) Cell viability was measured using an MTT assay in HT-29 and HCT116 cells treated with the indicated concentrations of CTP for 24 hrs. (B and C) Cells were treated with the indicated concentrations of CTP for 24 hrs, and the degree to which CTP inhibited cell proliferation was measured using BrdU labeling.
