Eupatilin arrests the cell cycle of the glioma to the G1 phase and affects the expression of cell cycle regulatory proteins. (A) Four cell lines were synchronized for 12 hrs with serum-free medium, treated with different concentrations of eupatilin for 24 hrs, cells were harvested and the cell cycle was measured with flow cytometry. (B) U251 cells were treated with eupatilin for 24 hrs after synchronizing for 12 hrs, and the expression of regulatory proteins was detected by Western blot. GAPDH is used as a housekeeping protein to prove the equal loading in each lane of the electrophoresis and to normalize densitometric values of the other protein analyzed.
