A phylogenetic tree was constructed with BEAST, using 76 protein coding sequences common to cp genomes, including those of the Panax ginseng cp genome as an outgroup. Divergence times were estimated based on the divergence time (49 Mya) between Daucus carata (Apiaceae) and P. ginseng (Araliaceae). Posterior probability value indicated by blue color.
