Effect of LEV therapy on sucrose preference in DFP rats. Sucrose preference test: A, Bar graph shows significantly lower sucrose consumption in DFP+SAL rats compared with age-matched CTL groups indicative of significant anhedonia. DFP+LEV rats were significantly higher than on DFP+SAL but not significantly different than CTL+SAL group indicative of restoration of sucrose preference in DFP rats following LEV therapy. CTL+SAL and CTL+LEV groups were not different from each other. B, No differences were observed in the total fluid volume consumed between the various groups.
