Silencing of SDC2 attenuates A549 cell tumor growth and micrometastasis in a xenograft tumor model. A total of 12 mice were randomly assigned to two groups and subcutaneously injected with 3 × 10⁶ Scr A549 cells or shSDC2 A549 cells (n = 6 per group). (A) Tumor volume was measured every 2–3 days for 30 days. The mean tumor volume ± SEM is shown. *P < 0.05 vs. shSDC2. (B) Tumors were excised and weighed at Day 30 after cell injection.
