SSd inhibited proliferation of SMMC-7721 and HepG2 cells. Adherent liver cancer cells (SMMC-7721 and HepH2) were seeded in 96-well plates (5 × 103cells/well) and incubated with different concentrations of SSd ranging from 2.5 to 15 µg/ml, and time intervals ranging from 24 to 72 h, as indicated on the histograms. Cell proliferation was determined by the MTT assay. Data were expressed as mean ± SD.
