Study design summary. (A) Animals participating in the experiment (n = 40) were tracked with fluorescent visible implant elastomers. Each male carried a unique code visible under white and UV light. (B) Only males that reached the inclusion criteria described in the flowchart (n = 36) were selected for creating homogeneous experimental groups in terms of total motility.
