Expression and promoter DNA methylation of uniquely differentially expressed CpG island-containing genes in HCC in STAM mice at 20 weeks. (A) Algorithm for the selection of genes in HCC with differentially methylated promoters and inversely correlated with gene expression. (B) Gene expression and promoter DNA methylation of the selected genes differentially expressed in HCC. The results of gene expression and DNA methylation are presented as an average log₂ fold change in the livers of mice with full-fledged HCC relative to respective values of age-matching control mice, which were assigned a value 1.
