Parallel experiments were performed with the RIβ2C2 holoenzyme (Holo RIβ), the RIβ2 subunit (RIβ), and the C subunit (C). B, Separation by gel filtration chromatography of TeqR-like(His)8 in the presence of various molecular weight markers: thyroglobulin (Thyr), immunoglobulin G (IgG), ovalbumin (Ova), myoglobin (Myo) and vitamin B12 (VitB12). The size of the unknown protein was estimated by plotting the Kav value of each standard versus the logarithm of its molecular weight (Mr).
