Clamp, cut and ligate the sacrouterine ligament and the cardinal ligament (second step of parametrial tissue cutting): One arm of the Heaney's forceps is placed inside the sacrouterine ligament, and the other arm is clamped against the posterior half of the cardinal ligament.
