Polydatin or the SIRT1 activator SRT1720 upregulates SIRT1 expression and activity post-TBI.

TBI was induced by lateral fluid percussion in rats, followed by administration of PD (30 mg/kg, intraperitoneally) or SRT1720 (20 mg/kg, intraperitoneally). The rat injured-side cortex was isolated at 6 hours post-TBI. (A) SIRT1 levels were assessed by western blot assay. (B) Relative band densities of SIRT1.
