Effects of tedizolid and comparator antibiotics on S. aureus PVL toxin expression. S. aureus strains were cultured in the presence of 1/16× MIC, 1/8× MIC, 1/4× MIC or vehicle control for 12 and 24 h. Levels of LukS-PVL were quantified from filter-sterilized culture supernatants by ELISA.
