Mammosphere formation was assessed following 6 days treatment with either vehicle, eribulin, BKM120, or the combination of eribulin and BKM120 for (A) BT549, (B) MDA-MB-231, (C) ex vivo cultured WHIM6 and (D) WHIM12 PDX derived cell line. Representative photographs were shown. The combination of eribulin and BKM120 was most in inhibiting mammosphere formation.
