Tissue toxicity of T-001, T-011, and T-016 on precision-cut hamster liver slices. Hepatic ALT and AST levels were measured after 24 h incubation of tissue liver slices in the presence of the three synthetic compounds, MTZ and control negative (culture medium). Each line represents the group mean ± S.D. (n = 3). Asterisk (*) indicates significant difference (p < 0.05) compared with control (−) and, hash (#) indicates significant difference (p < 0.05) compared with positive control (+) MTZ in each sample.
