Out of the six genes examined, the 0.5 mg/kg dose was able to significantly upregulate mRNA levels of IL-6, Gad67 and Nanog. The 1 mg/kg dose was effective at inducing mRNA levels of Nanog, Reln and Bdnf9a. Klf4 mRNA levels were unchanged.
