Effects of alcohol dehydrogenase 1B (ADH1B) on the viability of SH-SY5Y cells cultured with β-amyloid (Aβ)1-42. Viability of cells transfected with shRNA vector or ADH1B overexpression vector and cultured with 0.1% DMSO or 10 μM Aβ1-42 for 12 h was determined using MTT assays.
