Podosome structures are prevalent in GFP- DCs. Vinculin (cyan), f-actin (magenta), MV (GFP) and nuclei (yellow) were co-detected in MV exposed DCs seeded on FN for 2 h. Overviews are shown in (A) and (B) (scale bars, 20 μm), insets in (A) show magnifications of podosomal structures prominently seen in GFP- cells. In (B) boxed regions highlight the podosomal structures which are not present in GFP+ DCs (scale bars, 5 μm). Images are representative for 4 independent experiments. (C) The percentage of DCs with podosome rosettes was measured in each group. Graph shows the mean ± SEM of four independent experiments each consisting of one donor.
