HFD-induced lipid metabolic rhythms define a critical time window for lipid-lowering therapies. Under HFD conditions, 24-hour lipid biosynthesis and breakdown rhythms become synchronized in murine livers. Peak activity of lipid biosynthesis around the day-night transition defines a critical window for lipid lowering statin therapies through PPARα agonism.
