Proportion of cases and controls with one or more adequately treated or inadequately treated/screen detected cardiovascular risk factors. There was no significant difference in the prevalence of adequately treated risk factors between women with endometrial cancer and those without. The difference in the proportion of women with one, two or three or more cardiovascular risk factors between the two groups was thus due to the higher prevalence of previously undiagnosed and inadequately treated risk factors in women undergoing primary treatment for endometrial cancer.
