DFX117 altered cell cycle distribution in lung cancer cells. (A,B) A549 and NCI-H1975 cells were exposed or not exposed to DFX117 at indicated concentrations for 24 h and then were collected for PI (propidium iodide) staining and Western blot analysis. The DNA content was then analyzed by flow cytometric analysis as described in the Materials and Methods. (C,D) Cells were treated with the indicated concentrations of DFX117 for 24 h, and protein lysates were analyzed by Western blot to detect the alteration of cell cycle related proteins. (E,F) The changes in corresponding protein expression levels were quantified using ImageJ. Each bar represents the mean ± SEM (n = 3); * p < 0.05 or ** p < 0.01 was considered statistically significant compared with the corresponding control values.
