Mann–Whitney U and Chi-square (or Fisher’s exact) tests were used to analyze continuous and categorical variables, respectively. Statistical significance (p < 0.05) is shown in bold. The asterisk indicated that the Fisher’s exact test was used instead of the Chi-squared test.
