Strains were incubated at 25°C on PDA under continuous fluorescent light. Colony diameters were measured at 30d after inoculation, as for elsinochrome production, 20 agar plugs (5-mm diameter) were cut and extracted twice with acetone and the absorbance was measured at 468 nm under a spectrophotometer. 3 replicate plates for each treatment.
