Inhibition of Dictyostelium EF1α binding to F-actin by antibody against amino acids 403–456. Native Dictyostelium EF1α (1 μM) was incubated with or without 1 μM IgG in sedimentation buffer plus 50 μM GTP at pH 6.5 and room temperature for 1 h. The reaction mixture was then added to a F-actin solution (final 2 μM) in the cuvette.
