Rats were treated as shown in Figure 1A, and the concentrations of plasma lipids were measured using the corresponding commercial test kits. Data are expressed as the means ± SE (n = 5). Values sharing the same letters were not significantly different (Tukey–Kramer multiple comparison test; p < 0.05). NEFAs: non-esterified fatty acids.
