Frequencies of first stroke nested between 0.5 years before and after cancer was first recorded in the database and were nested around the time of cancer diagnosis in the patients with both cancer and stroke (A). Under time correction of the number of cancer survivors, the monthly event rate of first stroke for all strokes (B), acute ischemic stroke (C), transient ischemic attack (D), and intracerebral hemorrhage (E) remained nested and peaked at the time of cancer diagnosis.
