On the seventh day after the colchicine injection, marked reduction of immunoreactivity for mGluR1 (C) and mGluR5 (G) is observed in the dentate molecular layer ipsilateral to the lesion, whereas marked reduction of immunoreactivity for mGluR2/3 (arrowhead in E), mGluR7a (arrows in I), and mGluR7b (K) is observed in the ipsilateral mossy fiber terminal zone.
