Trial name or title Comparing two medical treatments for early pregnancy failure
Methods Double‐blind placebo‐controlled randomised trial ‐ parallel group assignment
Participants Women with ultrasonographically confirmed early pregnancy failure (6‐14 weeks postmenstrual), managed expectantly for at least 1 week
Interventions Oral mifepristone (600 mg) or oral placebo
Outcomes Primary outcome: complete evacuation 6 weeks after initial treatment (whether or not complete evacuation (total endometrial thickness < 15 mm) will be assessed through ultrasonography
Starting date June 27 2018, estimated primary completion date = January 1 2020
