Abstract

A practical solid-phase method is described using a polar polyamide support for the synthesis of medium-length oligodeoxyribonucleotides. Chain assembly can be facilitated with the aid of a modified solid-phase peptide synthesiser. Hplc on both analytical and preparative scale allows rapid monitoring of syntheses as well as efficient final purification of the desired oligonucleotide.
