True color subband images of the outer retina with identical axial resolutions, obtained via digital spectral shaping. Axial line profiles were generated from flattened images with background correction and normalization proximal to the RPE. Note that the separation between the hyper-reflective Bruch’s membrane (BM) band and the hyper-reflective retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) band improves markedly at shorter wavelengths.
