Diagnostic criteria for OA in the hip joint

Number Characteristics
1 Recurrent hip joint pain in the last month.
2 ESR ≤20 mm/h.
3 Osteophytosis and hyperplasia in the acetabular margin on radiograph.
4 A narrowed hip joint space on plain radiograph.

Note: Diagnosis of hip OA can be made if the following conditions are satisfied: 1 + 2 + 3 or 1 + 3 + 4.
