For risk of injury per participant, the risk of serious injury and any injury increased progressively as the number of falls increased (P<.001). For risk of injury per fall, the overall associations between number of falls and risk of injury were statistically significant, with P-values of .005 and .026 for serious injury and any injury, respectively.
