Effect of Lactobacillus fermentum UCO-979C on Peyer's patches lymphocytes of adult immunocompetent mice. L. fermentum UCO-979C was administered to mice for 2 consecutive days at a dose of 108 cells/mouse/day. Untreated mice were used as controls. One day after the last lactobacilli administration, Peyer's patches T and B cells were evaluated by flow cytometry. The results represent three independent experiments. Results are expressed as mean ± SD. Significantly different from control mice *(P < 0.05).
