Meditation affects the content and quality of thoughts and feelings. Spider plots of thought dimensions measured using the ARSQ show differences between ECR (green) and MED (red). Meditation reduced thoughts about theory of mind, planning, sleepiness, verbal thought, thinking about health, and discontinuity of mind, while increasing somatic awareness in practitioners. The control group showed reduced health concern and increased somatic awareness.
