A) Increased expression of miR-294 in the embryonic heart from E9.5 – E14.5 that progressively declines with birth (D1) and postnatal development (D7-D21) (n=3). B) Other miR-290 family members such as miR-291 are also expressed during embryonic heart development albeit at a lower level and decreasing after birth (n=3). C) Let-7 expression is low during E9.5 and 10.5 but starts to increase after that with maximum expression in the adult heart (D21) (n=3).
