Expressions of miR-15a and -16 Are Differentially Modulated in Mouse Adductor Muscles and Muscle-Derived Endothelial Cells after Limb Ischemia

At 1 and 3 days after surgical induction of limb ischemia, ischemic and contralateral (control) adductor muscles were collected, and the expressions of miR-15a and -16 were assessed by RT-PCR in the total muscle tissue (A) and in muscle-derived CD146+ endothelial cells (ECs) (B). Results were normalized to the expression of small nuclear RNA U6, relative to control muscle or EC normo-perfused and expressed as mean ± SEM. n = 3 per condition. **p < 0.01 and ***p < 0.001 versus control, matched for time after ischemia.
