13C‐polarization of SUC by T‐GM (Figure 1a) as a function of the relative frequency offset of the decoupling pulses. Polarization decreased significantly when the frequency of the MLEV16 pulses was changed with respect to the center frequency of 2.7 ppm. For ±1 ppm off‐resonance, polarization dropped from 9.5 % to ∼2 %. Note that the 1H and 13C pulses of the SOT sequence (T‐GM) were always on resonant. Each data point shows the mean value and standard deviation of the polarization of three experiments. Note that the band width of 180° pulse is 640 Hz (2.1 ppm). Experimental details: setup 2, E4.
