Adoptive transfer of CD3+ and CD8+ T cells from AAV-IL-21 cured BPS persistence mice induced HBV clearance in treatment-naïve BPS persistence mice. BPS persistence mice were transferred with CD3+, CD4+, or CD8+ T cells from AAV-IL-21-cured BPS persistence mice (serum HBsAg negative for over 4 weeks), or left untreated.
