Non‐regular sexual partnerships were defined as reporting at least one sexual partner in the past 12 months who the participant was not married to and did not live with among everyone who reported sex in the past 12 months. Dates refer to the mid‐points of the survey data collection period. Data from AIS are indicated in red. Data from different survey types are linked with dashed lines. Shaded areas indicate the years in which ART was introduced into the public healthcare sector in each country and from when 30% of adult PLHIV (15 + years) were in treatment (disregarding treatment eligibility criteria; see Supporting Information, Section 2).
