Effect of AO extracts on intracellular ROS in wild-type (a), CF1038 (b), and EU1 (c) worms. AO extract treatment reduced ROS levels in N2 worms when compared to the DMSO control group. Worms were treated with different concentrations of hexane (AOH) and methanol extracts (AOM). DMSO and EGCG were used as the solvent control and positive control groups, respectively. Data are presented as the mean ± SEM (n = 80, replicated three times). p < 0.05, ∗∗ p < 0.01, ∗∗∗ p < 0.001, and ∗∗∗∗ p < 0.0001, compared to the DMSO control by one-way ANOVA following Bonferroni's method (post hoc).
