Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) induces Wnt activation in the NIH3T3 cell, and compound 3289-8625 suppresses the H2O2-induced Wnt activation. Stable, transfected 3T3 cells expressing luciferase under control of the Wnt promoter were treated with vehicle, H2O2 (1 or 0.1 μM), or H2O2 (1 or 0.1 μM) presenting with 3289–8625 (50 μM). After 16 hours, Wnt-induced luciferase activities in 3T3 cells were detected (***P < 0.005 and ****P < 0.001 via one-way ANOVA with the Dunnett correction).
