The proportion of CD3CD56highCD16+ natural killer (NK) cells was increased in latent autoimmune diabetes mellitus in the adult (LADA) patients. The proportions of (a) CD3CD56lowCD16 NK cells in total live cells, (b) CD3CD56lowCD16+ NK cells in total live cells, (c) CD3CD56highCD16 NK cells in total live cells and (d) CD3CD56highCD16+ NK cells in total live cells were determined using a flow cytometer.
