The ILS1 conditional mutant formed comparable biofilms though it was not able to grow in vitro. (A) The wild-type (WT) and the ILS1 GRACE strain biofilms were assessed as biofilm growth (OD₆₀₀), metabolic activity (XTT assay), biomass accumulation (CV assay), dry weight, and biofilm disaggregation assay. The biofilms were grown in RPMI-MOPS at 37 °C for 24–48 h −/+ DOX. (B) Planktonic growth curves for the strains grown in YPD −/+ DOX at 30 °C and 37 °C were monitored for 48 hours.
