In vivo clearance of niclosamide in wild-type and LCN mice. Adult male wild-type and LCN littermates were given a single oral dose of niclosamide at 120 mg/kg. Plasma was obtained at various times after dosing for determination of niclosamide (A), NIC-OH (B), and NIC-G (C). Relative levels of NIC-OH or NIC-G (in arbitrary units) are compared between wild-type and LCN mice. The values represent means ± S.D., n = 5; *P < 0.05; **P < 0.01; ****P < 0.0001, compared with corresponding wild-type group, two-way analysis of variance with Bonferroni’s multiple comparisons test.
